Fair warning: some of these are really outdated or old.
The Beginning of a Career
I began programming when I was 6 years old with Scratch and Minecraft commands, which sparked my love for rationality and logic dating back to even my love of puzzles as a toddler.
Webdev and Music
Around age 8 years old, I started learning to play the piano, and began my career in web development at this time, learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Singing and Robotics
At 10 years old, I started taking instruction for singing and started to involve myself more in music. I began to explore music composition, messing around with different DAWs until I settled upon LMMS with the idea that I would eventually switch to FL Studio. This was also the first year of doing First Lego League with a team.
Guitar and CAC
At 12 years old, I started learning to play the guitar at the same place I was learning singing. I found it fun and easier than piano. This was the first year I participated in the annual Congressional App Challenge, started looking into React and development with modern frameworks, and was performing at many different events.
React and Skillmesa
This was the first fully released project, initially created for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. It was also the first project I made using React. Despite making numerous prototypes of various projects to different levels of completion, I had never actually finished one of my projects before this.
smv1t
Up to this point, I had been making music for quite a while, but had never actually released anything. I finally released my first single (overcome) in 2026, and made significant improvement to Skillmesa. I have also completely redesigned the UI, and want to take a look at some of my abandoned projects and breathe life back into them. I am currently participating in the Gamedev.js gamejam, and we'll see how it goes!
